SHANKS ‘EUREKA’ CANOPY BATH C. 1900

A rare Shanks canopy bath reclaimed from a property in Wimpole Street, London. This is in good unrestored condition. There is no tap set or panelling.

An example can be seen at Kinloch Castle on the Island of Rhum.

DENT & HELLYER HIGH LEVEL CAST IRON CISTERN

A cast iron cistern with what appear to be complete workings, including pull chain. No cracks or other visible damage. We believe it is zinc lined or galvanised. It is designed to be screwed directly to a wall, so no need for brackets. The cistern has been shot blasted externally and primed. Probably Edwardian.

The front reads:

We have not tested this so it is ‘sold as seen’, although we see no reason why a competent plumber couldn’t make to work. There is no lid.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN WASH BASIN / SINK

A large Victorian wash basin in good condition and with original waste and metal supporting bracket. The bracket has been stripped and spray enamelled. The plug is made from vulcanised rubber and is not recent. The glaze has crazing to some areas and the odd stain/mark. No chips or cracks. There is an area of discolouration behind one tap. Supplied with taps pictured, subject to testing, or a similar pair. This setup has come srtaight from use.

RARE LATE VICTORIAN BRITISH CAMPAIGN BATH

A military campaign bath with copper inner skin enclosed by two layers of tin with a teak surround. The bath stands on a cast iron frame with original cast iron and vulcanised rubber wheels. A brass waste is attached.

This item is in totally original condition. It will require some basic restoration to make it fit for everyday use. We are happy to discuss options. Worldwide shipping can be arranged.

A 1920′s basin unit by John Bolding of London. The unit standing on three chromed legs with polished stainless steel skirt concealing the under mounted ceramic basins with Travertine top and carved soap recesses. A matching splash back with glass shelves and original chromed taps and plunger wastes complete this impressive piece.

VICTORIAN CAST IRON SINK / BASIN STAND WITH LOO SEAT

A Victorian cast iron sink / basin stand original ceramic basin and matching cast iron toilet brackets and Mahogany seat.

Condition as reclaimed. The basin is in excellent condition with no cracks or crazing. The original lead piping is in place. The taps will require refurbishment. The tiles in the splash back are replacements. The loo seat can be used as it is, but is lacking the lid. The iron-work would benefit from stripping and re-painting. There are also a couple of hairline cracks and areas of minor loss to the iron-work. This has been functioning until removal.
