IMPRESSIVE SOLID ENGLISH WALNUT STAIRCASE
An impressive solid English walnut staircase and associated panelling designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis (Portmeirion) c. 1923 for Hammer Hill House.
The staircase consists of a flight of fourteen steps, low panelled landing and return flight of four steps. Many further components available (not shown). Further details and images available from our office.

TUDOR OAK STAIRCASE C. 1560-1580
 large and impressive solid oak staircase with turned balusters, moulded handrails and substantial carved newel posts.
Reputedly from the house of Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson’s sister in Kent. Removed following a fire in the early 20th century. One of the newel posts has some fire damage to two sides. Lacking ground floor newel post top. Lacking treads and risers, replacement period material can be supplied.
This has not been re-fitted since removal and is an exceptionally rare piece.
