Pair Of 17th Century Style Seated Dogs / Armorial Hounds
A large and imposing pair of plaster dogs or hounds, copied from a 17th / 18th century design.
These are the Plaster masters, used in the mould making process.
The original pair, carved in Bath stone, were sold at Summers Place Auctions in 2014, Lot 9 Hammer £ 13,500
Please note these will not be suitable for use outside, unless sheltered from rain.
Good structural condition, chip to the end of one nose. No cracks or breaks.
